Preaching in the U.K under Parivrajak Maharaj

Srila Acharyapad, the spiritual leader of the Gaudiya Mission, took steps to fulfill the lifelong wish of Smt Vinodevani to establish a Gaudiya Math in London, with the support of Srila B.K. Audolomi Maharaj, the then Acharya of the Mission, Srila Acharyapad ensured that all legal formalities were completed.

A young and able preacher-monk, His Divine Grace Sripad B.S. Paribrajak Maharaj, was dispatched from India to take charge of Sri Vasudev Gaudiya Math, Cranhurst Road. He was tasked with activating the math as the principal preaching center of the Mission in Europe.

For a long 10 years, Sripad B.S. Paribrajak Maharaj acted as the superintendent of the math. Under his leadership, the propagating activities of London reached a new height. He organized regular kirtans, lectures, and classes on Gaudiya Vaishnavism. He also established a library and a bookshop at the math.

Srimad B.S. Paribrajak Maharaj’s tireless efforts helped to spread the message of Gaudiya Vaishnavism in London and throughout Europe. He is remembered as a great saint and preacher who significantly contributed to the Mission.
